Paper Submission

Paper Format

  • Please prepare your paper using the 2-column ACM format. View the guidelines and templates here, and please read the below instructions.
  • Please be sure to use the correct Category and Subject Descriptor in your paper. See the above guidelines for instructions and visit http://www.acm.org/class/1998/ for more information.
  • Your paper must be submitted in PDF format. A PDF creator can be downloaded for Windows: here.
  • Failure to meet the formatting guidelines set by ACM, could result in your paper not being included in the Proceedings CD.
  • Papers are allowed up to 10 pages, including all figures, tables and references.
  • Each paper should contain an abstract of 100 to 150 words that appears at the beginning of the document. Use the same text that is submitted electronically along with the author contact information.

Submission

  • Registration: Before you can submit your paper, you will have to register with our conference tool. For this purpose:
    • Go to our easychair submission page.
    • If you are not registered with EasyChair yet, create a new account and fill in the required information.
    • Press "Register" and wait for the e-mail with the registration information (it should not take long).
  • Paper upload:
    • Once you have received the confirmation with the password, go to our submission page again, and this time enter user name and password under "Registered User". Once you are logged in, click on "New Submission" (on top of the page).
    • Let k be the number of authors of the paper. If k≤3, then skip the first paragraph, and go to "Address for Correspondence", while if k>3 then go to the field "Type the number of authors:" near the top of the page, enter k into this field, press "Change the Number of Authors", and continue as for the k≤3 case.
    • Under "Address for Correspondence" you must enter your postal address, and a fax number (if you do not have one, then enter "000").
    • Then under "Authors" you should find now enough slots to fill in the authors of your paper. At least one of them must be marked as "Corresponding author" (he or she will obtain e-mail notifications by the system).
    • Enter title and abstract. And you must choose whether your paper is "invited" or "regular" (if you don't know, then it should probably be "regular").
    • Enter 2-5 keywords (or key phrases).
    • Upload the paper.
    • Press "Submit Paper" (once); your browser should show you an acknowledgement, and you should receive an automatic e-mail acknowledgement by the system.
